TULSA, Okla., Jan. 31, 2019 – A Fortune 500 integrated oil and gas company has selected Stonebridge Consulting to provide day-to-day managed services support of its business-critical WellView, SiteView and FLOWCAL application environments.

Stonebridge’s client is a top tier oil and gas company focused on multiple oil and natural gas resource plays within the continental United States. The company made the 2018 Fortune 500, which ranks U.S. public companies by total revenue.

Stonebridge Managing Director Trevor Hicks said, “As is often the case for successful oil and gas companies, our client’s growth strategy has resulted in a complex organizational structure, with many data and process dependencies and labor divisions between departments. Partnering with Stonebridge to manage specific system management tasks, such as 24/7 support of their WellView, SiteView and FLOWCAL environments, is a strategic approach for rationalizing their operations, improving top-line revenue generation and controlling bottom-line costs.”

The in-scope systems in the agreement are widely used in the upstream industry and are considered by many as industry-standard applications. WellView, a well information management system for well planning, drilling, completion, testing and workovers, and SiteView, a system for construction, reclamation, pipeline, facilities and water data management, are part of Peloton’s integrated well lifecycle analysis and visualization software suite. FLOWCAL, a software application for validating, balancing, storing and reporting gas and liquid measurement data, is the flagship product of Flow-Cal, Inc.

Under the SmartSource managed services agreement, Stonebridge will provide the company with frontline help desk and system administration support. Stonebridge will perform routine administrative services, such as patch installation and upgrades, performance optimization and reporting, system health checks, and user training.

Additionally, the SmartSource agreement includes advanced system optimization services for each of the target applications.

“Beyond our standard SmartSource services, this agreement covers a broad group of performance-driven optimization and integration services for these specific systems,” Hicks said. “For example, for the Peloton environment, we are managing UDL changes, creating scripts for acquisitions and divestitures data updates for WellView, and even managing the installation and delivery of field laptops. For FLOWCAL, we are validating integrations and SCADA data import from CygNet to FLOWCAL, and managing data transfers to Enertia, and more.”

Both advanced and standard SmartSource managed services are backed by a defined service level agreement (SLA).

“The SLA outlines how we and the client are committed to working together as a unified team, with a shared mission and common objectives,” Hicks said. “Our client sees us as an integral member of their organization, which is the goal of every SmartSource agreement.”
