TULSA, Okla., Nov. 25, 2013 – Stonebridge, an award-winning business and technology services company, today announced that Phil Jarvis has been promoted to BSM Practice Manager, reporting to Samir Kumar, Stonebridge Vice President of the company’s BSM and P&C business units.
In his new role, Jarvis is responsible for leading the company’s BSM practice, which includes the IT Transformation (ITT), IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Business Management (ITBM) service lines. Previously, Jarvis was the principal consultant lead for the ITT service line within the BSM practice.
“Phil is a seasoned business consultant with a solid technical pedigree and an infectious enthusiasm for all things ITSM,” Kumar said. “I am confident that his passion and commitment to helping clients deliver tangible business value from their IT organizations will make a lasting contribution to Stonebridge BSM.”
Jarvis has more than 20 years of IT experience, with the past 14 years focused exclusively on ITSM. Prior to joining Stonebridge, he successfully led a large ITSM consulting practice based in the United Kingdom, which achieved quadruple digit growth under his direction. Over his career, Jarvis has worked at Big Five and boutique ITSM consulting firms, including Accenture, Plexent, Xpertise Training, BT Consulting and Sainsbury’s. A native of England, Jarvis earned a degree in business and finance from the University of London.
Jarvis holds a host of professional and technical certifications, including ISO/IEC 20000 Certified, ITIL V2 Manager and ITIL V3 Expert Certified, PRINCE2, Gartner TOC, and MAAT Certified Accounting Technician. He is a member of the British Computer Society, the Institute of Service Management and IT Service Management Forum. A natural-born teacher, Phil has also helped more than 300 clients achieve their ITIL V2 Managers and V3 Expert certifications.
