TULSA, Okla., Oct. 10, 2013 – Stonebridge, an award-winning business and technology services company, today announced that Greg Foley has been promoted to Director of Business Development for the company’s Texas operations, reporting to Stonebridge Chief Executive Officer James Ivy.

In his new role as Director of Business Development, Foley is responsible for leading the company’s Houston-based business development team in driving new client acquisition as well as providing strategic sales support with existing Stonebridge clients with significant presence in Texas.

Foley, a seasoned IT sales professional with deep roots in the Energy sector, joined Stonebridge as a Business Development Manager in May 2010 and has been a consistent top performer in driving new business with Oil & Gas organizations.

Foley, who has more than 25 years of business development experience, joined Stonebridge after more than a decade with Petris, Inc., a Houston-based software firm specializing in energy applications. Prior, he was at Haht Software, Fujitsu, Digital Equipment Corp., and ComputerLand. Originally from Australia, Foley is a graduate of the Catholic College of Education in Sydney.

Foley’s professional affiliations include serving as past president of the Australian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC); co-chair of AACC’s annual Energy Conference; past president and current board member of the Houston Chapter of the Australian American Chamber of Commerce; past president of the Australian New Zealand American Chambers of Commerce; member, Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA); and member, Energy Prospectus Group. He is also a board member of the Woodland Heights Civic Association in Houston.
