Project Summary

Line of business vice presidents at a high growth oil and gas startup proactively sought to prepare for the company’s accelerated drilling activity in the Utica Shale and Woodford Shale plays. Stonebridge created a streamlined workflow for capturing well related activities from “prospect to spud” while recognizing the unique characteristics of each play. As part of the overall workflow, Stonebridge developed department specific sub processes for pre-drilling activities, including bi weekly unit selection, plat, marketing/midstream planning, federal and state permitting, and authorization for expenditure (AFE). Additionally, Stonebridge developed standardized Excel  and Word based forms and reports related to well activity and workflow, including field review, property number and AFE number request, midstream vendor evaluation tracking, and AFE approval summary. To achieve line of business goals and further leverage technology, Stonebridge configured and implemented Peloton WellView (supporting drilling, completions, and workover activities) and RigView (supporting the drilling rig, frac crew, and well intervention techniques in live wells). Additionally, Stonebridge is configuring and evaluating SiteView with WellView and RigView to support the full “prospect to spud” cycle across multiple departments.
