HOUSTON, June 19, 2012 – Stonebridge is one of the Top 10 IT consulting and systems integration companies operating in Houston, according to the Houston Business Journal.
The weekly business publication ranked Stonebridge ranks sixth overall based on local gross revenue in 2010.
“Houston is our largest market in Texas, so it is no surprise that we are in the Top 10 of IT consulting firms in Houston,” said Stonebridge Senior Vice President Matthew Childress, who oversees the company’s Texas operations, which is headquartered in Houston. “Houston is a prime market for us largely because of its high concentration of oil and gas companies.”
Stonebridge counts many of Houston’s leading oil and gas companies as clients. The company, which also has offices in Dallas and Tulsa, has maintained an office in Houston since 1995, when it was founded.
According to Childress, while oil and gas continues to be a dominant contributor to Stonebridge’s Houston-based revenue stream, he sees the opportunity to make significant inroads into additional market segments in Houston, including health care, financial services, and manufacturing.
“We are forecasting high growth for our Texas operations, which means greater opportunities for our current Houston associates as well as more opportunities for us to continue adding staff,” he said.
