TULSA, Okla., Feb. 28, 2017 – Data management experts from Stonebridge Consulting and Jonah Energy will co-present at the 2017 PPDM Houston Data Management Symposium & Tradeshow, Feb. 28 – March 1 at the Marriott Houston Westchase.
Stonebridge Principal Consultant Telha Ghanchi and Thomas Burgett, IT Business Analyst/Project Manager at Jonah Energy, will team up on “Updated Tools and Techniques Bring New Life to ‘Old School’ Data Warehousing at Jonah Energy.” The session will take place on Wednesday, March 1 at 1:30 p.m. Central.
The presentation will detail how Jonah gained measurable operational efficiencies and reduced costs through streamlined access to key data via a data warehouse solution. Jonah had a number of operational systems used to manage the daily activities of the organization. While these systems offered limited reporting, they were not designed for the broader analysis needs of the organization.
To that end, Jonah collaborated with Stonebridge to identify high-level analysis and reporting requirements and create a solution architecture for delivering information to the enterprise. Priority data sets sourced from five systems included production volumes, reserves data, general ledger, lease operating statement and AFE-related data. Utilizing development accelerators such as the EnerHub™ upstream dimensional data module and pre-built connectors, the data warehouse solution was up and running in less than six months.
