TULSA, Okla., Oct. 12, 2017 – Can upstream companies improve operational performance by applying more rigorous standards for data management and data quality to all phases of the well life cycle? This and related questions will be addressed by Stonebridge Consulting’s Adria Sprigler and several other oil and gas data management experts during a panel discussion at next week’s 2017 Denver Data Management Workshop.

The event, sponsored by the Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) Association, will take place Oct. 18th at the headquarters of QEP Resources in downtown Denver.

Sprigler, a Principal Consultant with Stonebridge, will provide her insights on the topic in a panel session entitled “Managing Data through the E&P Life Cycle.” In this 45-minute session, which starts at 10:15 a.m., Sprigler will be joined on the panel by Carolyn George (SM Energy), Ken Robertson (Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission), Michelle Schuster (QEP Resources), Jim Shaw (Land Information Services) and moderator Pat Meroney (Katalyst Data Management). The event agenda is available on the PPDM website.

Sprigler and the other panelists will discuss where Professional Data Management begins and ends within the E&P lifecycle, and whether the same rigor and data management principles can be applied at all stages along the lifecycle, from Asset Evaluation and Exploration through Drilling and Production Operations. Per the session description, “As we move into an era of Advanced Analytics we are evaluating larger and more diverse volumes of data and exploring how all of this data is inter-related. This panel explores the data management challenges we face across E&P in areas we traditionally don’t focus on in these forums, such as Regulatory, Land and Financial Data, calling on panelists with diverse and broad set of E&P backgrounds.”

As a Principal Consultant at Stonebridge Consulting, Adria Sprigler focuses on a wide range of client projects involving Oil and Gas Data Management and System Implementations. Prior to joining Stonebridge, she spent 12 years at Chesapeake Energy in various roles, including Project Manager, Manager of Drilling Systems and Technology, and Manager of Master Data Management. Sprigler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) degree from Oklahoma City University.
