TULSA, Okla., Nov. 13, 2014 – Stonebridge Consulting President Adam Hutchinson has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) Association. The appointment was announced at PPDM’s recent 2014 Calgary Data Management Symposium in Kananaskis, Alberta.
The PPDM Board is responsible for the overall strategic management of the PPDM Association. The Board provides leadership and governance for the PPDM Association and acts in the best interests of all the members of the PPDM Association by promoting the PPDM Association’s goals.
Trudy Curtis, PPDM’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are pleased to have Adam Hutchinson join the PPDM Board and help us further our organizational goal of championing the emergence of a recognized profession with accepted best practices for data management in our industry.”
Hutchinson has more than 15 years of oil and gas/energy industry experience. Before assuming the current position as President of Stonebridge Consulting, he was an asset manager at BHP Billiton and led unconventional shale play investment evaluations and large CAPEX well development projects. Prior, he was at Chesapeake Energy for six years serving as a director of technology management for the company’s E&P and midstream operations. Hutchinson began his career at global consulting giant Accenture during an eight-year tenure in which he managed Accenture’s resources market unit supporting energy clientele in the upstream, downstream and utilities markets. Hutchinson holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
