TULSA, Okla., March 12, 2013 – Stonebridge, a leading Tulsa-based technology services company, announced today the promotions of two key executives. Samir Kumar has been promoted to Stonebridge Vice President, and Stephen Taylor has been promoted to Director of Stonebridge’s Business Service Management (BSM) business unit.

As a Stonebridge Vice President, Kumar is charged with direct management of the company’s new Property & Casualty (P&C) Industry business unit and also retains sales responsibility for Stonebridge’s BSM unit. Kumar, who joined Stonebridge in 2009, previously served as Director of the BSM Practice. Prior to joining Stonebridge, Kumar was with IBM Global Services where he was a member of the IBM account team supporting Williams Energy in Tulsa. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
As the newly appointed Director of Stonebridge’s BSM unit, Taylor assumes direct responsibility of the BSM unit, which has been the company’s fastest-growing line of business over the past two years. Taylor joined Stonebridge in September 2011 as the BSM unit’s Chief Solution Architect. Before joining Stonebridge, Taylor was IT director over systems infrastructure at Chesapeake Energy Corporation in Oklahoma City. He holds a degree in management of information systems from Oklahoma State University.
